Und zum Zweiten sind die Geräte vernetzt. Das heißt man hat bspw. die Möglichkeit. Man ist unterwegs. Es haben sich Gäste angekündigt, die kommen plötzlich etwas früher. Das Geschirr ist noch nicht sauber und dann kann man von unterwegs über die App, kann man den Geschirrspüler einfach mal kurz beschleunigen und man kann ganz entspannt nach Hause fahren und das Geschirr und die Gläser sind wieder sauber."

"On the one hand, with our new dishwasher, we have already attached great importance to the fact that dishes and especially glasses, that we are particularly delicate with them and to ensure that the glasses are also particularly clean. And second, the appliances are connected in a network. This means that you have a lot of possibilities. For example: You are on the road. Guests have announced themselves, they suddenly arrive a little earlier. The dishes are not yet clean and then you can use the app, you can simply speed up the dishwasher and you can go home completely relaxed and the dishes and glasses are clean again."

07:07 - "Man muss ganz klar sagen, die Küche ist nun wirklich zum Mittelpunkt des Lebens geworden.  Der Mittelpunkt des Zuhauses. In der Küche wird nicht nur gekocht, es wird auch gearbeitet und teilweise findet auch dort gewisses Entertainment statt. Und insofern muss man sagen, ist die Küche zu dem geworden, was es eigentlich ist, wirklich der Mittelpunkt des Lebens. Und dafür braucht man natürlich auch smarte Lösungen und intelligente Hausgeräte, die einem das Leben leichter machen."

07:41 - "Ich denke wir haben alle gesehen, dass das was passiert ist, dass es einen wahnsinnigen Schub gegeben hat in Richtung Digitalisierung und Vernetzung. Unsere Geräte bieten eben diese Intelligenz, sind smart genug, um dem Menschen das Leben tatsächlich leichter zu machen. Ihm Arbeit abzunehmen, er kann sich auf andere Dinge konzentrieren. Er kann sich vielleicht auf Dinge konzentrieren, die ihm mehr Spaß machen. Und in der Zeit nimmt eben der Geschirrspüler z.B. die Arbeit ab."

I think we have all seen that what has happened, that there has been an insane push towards digitalization and networking. Our devices offer just this intelligence, are smart enough to actually make life easier for people. To relieve them of work, they can concentrate on other things. Maybe people can concentrate on things that they enjoy more. And in that time, the dishwasher, for example, takes the work off their hands."


08:15 - "Wir haben eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, die miteinander kommunizieren. Das heißt die Waschmaschine gibt an den Trockner die Informationen, die der Trockner benötigt, um das richtige Programm einzustellen. Das heißt die Waschmaschine sagt welches Programm gelaufen ist, welche Wäsche gelaufen ist, und diese Daten gehen dann automatisch an den Trockner und er stellt ganz automatisch das richtige Programm ein, sodass die Wäsche nicht nur sauber wird, sondern auch wieder richtig trocken wird."

"We have a washing machine and a dryer that communicate with each other. This means that the washing machine gives the dryer the information that the dryer needs to set the right program. This means that the washing machine tells the dryer which program has been run, which clothes have been washed, and this data is then automatically sent to the dryer, which automatically sets the right program so that the clothes are not only clean, but also properly dry again."

08:47 -  "Wir stellen jetzt gerade in dieser Zeit, in dieser Phase fest, dass der Kunde sich auch mehr und mehr für vernetzte Geräte interessiert, weil wir mit der Vernetzung das Leben tatsächlich einfacher und leichter gestalten können. Und Vernetzung ist der eine Part. Ein zweiter großer Part, der zu den intelligenten Hausgeräten zukünftig dazugehören und eine große Rolle spielen wird, ist das Thema Sprachsteuerung. Und gerade in der Küche macht Sprachsteuerung wirklich Sinn, weil ich habe dann die Hände frei, um zu arbeiten, um zu kochen, um zu backen, um einfach das zu tun, was wichtig ist, damit ein gutes essen auf den Tisch kommt."

"We are now realizing, especially at this time, at this stage, that the customer is also becoming more and more interested in connected devices, because we can actually make life easier and simpler with networking. And networking is one part of it. A second major part, which will be part of intelligent household devices in the future and play a major role, is the topic of voice control. And voice control really does make sense in the kitchen, because it leaves my hands free to work, cook, bake and simply do what is important so that a good meal is put on the table."

09:35 - "Was wir erkennen ist, dass der Kunde sich intelligente Geräte wünscht mit einem guten Design, mit modernder Technologie. Letztlich kann man zusammenfassen: Wirklich Smarte Hausgeräte, die zum einen das Leben leichter machen, zum anderen aber auch vom Design so gestaltet sind, dass sie in der Küche quasi verschwinden. Beziehungsweise, wenn man sie nicht benötigt, kann man, wie bei unserem neuen Classdraft, bei der neuen Dunstabzugshaube, die sich dann wirklich nach unten wieder wegfährt. Und man hat eine plane Arbeitsfläche sauber aufgeräumt ohne, dass irgendetwas den Weg blockiert oder versperrt."

"What we recognize is that the customer wants intelligent devices with a good design, with modern technology. In the end, we can summarize: Really smart household devices, which on the one hand make life easier, but on the other hand are also designed in such a way that they virtually disappear in the kitchen. Or, if you don't need them, you can, as with our new Classdraft, with the new extractor hood, which actually retracts downwards. And you have a clean, flat work surface without anything blocking or obstructing the way."

10:25 - "Die Zukunft der Küche, die Zukunft der Hausgeräte, die findet im Grunde genommen heute schon statt. Das heißt, der Kunde, der sich heute für ein vernetztes Gerät von uns entscheidet, kauft sich im Grunde die Zukunft ein, denn die Geräte erfahren ein Update. Das heißt, Dinge, die wir heute noch gar nicht vor Augen haben, die irgendwann in fünf Jahren realisiert werden, können dann ganz problemlos auf unsere intelligenten Geräte aufgespielt werden. Und insofern hat man immer das modernste, hat man immer die beste Technologie zuhause, was einem dann das Leben wirklich leichter macht."

"The future of the kitchen, the future of household devices, is basically taking place today. This means that the customer who decides to buy a connected device from us today is basically buying the future, because the devices are being updated. In other words, things that we don't even have in mind today, that will be implemented sometime in five years, can then be easily installed on our intelligent devices. And in this way you always have the latest and best technology at home, which really makes life easier."
